Rightline Gear Moki Door Step Fit With D-Shaped Door Latch

Most vehicles on the road have a standard U-shaped door latch.

Some vehicles have a D-shaped door latch that is a different dimension entirely.

With this D-shaped door latch, it is necessary to bring the Door Step’s hook in from the side. The Door Step’s hook will not fit inside the latch if brought in from the front.

Once the hook is in the center of the latch, it can easily be rotated 90 degrees to the forward position. The Door Step will function just like on a U-shaped door latch.

To remove the Step from the latch, rotate it back 90 degrees and follow the same path it came in on.
